Mini Chapter: Meet the Proctors

Harold and Mary Proctor have a love story that overcame barriers. They met when Mary had money, her status as the daughter of a mercantile Greater London family was one that meant something to a select few. She met Harold when they were both 12, he was a paper boy. The distance between the two was maintained for years as was not only expected but respectable. For nobody in Mary's world would've cared for the likes of Harold, when he was 15 he was fired and found a different job. When Mary saw him again when the two were both 18, she remembered the boy she thought was cute. As a lover of drama and flair, Mary went up to him and so began their spark. That spark led to her leaving her comfortable life behind to become his wife. They struggled, especially as her old world disowned and seemed to remove her from their memories. It was painful but to this day, Mary has no regrets. For she wouldn't have her precious Elizabeth or Harry, the children she deeply loves.
The family has moved to Bourneford for a chance at success and leaving a painful place behind. Harold is a Pleasure sim with Fortune Secondary while his wife is a Popularity sim who also has Fortune second. His traits are Can't Stand Art, Mooch and Lucky while Mary's are Snob, Dramatic and Good. Elizabeth is the oldest child, loving being the only daughter of the family, she has the Friendly trait. As for little Harry, he has the Heavy Sleeper trait, something much disliked by the whole of his family.

The Proctors move into a stone cottage similar to the cottages of the other Bourneford families. But unlike them, decide upon three bedrooms. One for Harold and Mary, one for their children and then a nursery as Mary and Harold certainly would like to expand their family even with just one more. They will be the Vintners of Bourneford, Mary especially holding the belief that wine will shoot their family into success and good social circles. While Bourneford may be still too small and simple for that, maybe...just maybe it will work out for the Proctors.
